Jay Troutman, ISHC, President
Jay holds a position of respected leadership in Hospitality
based on more than 30 years of stewardship of the industry’s
software and business technology needs. He is well known for
valuing human relationships and developing innovative
new performance management tools for Aptech’s more than 1,100 users.
He has also earned directorships on several Boards both
inside and outside the hotel industry.
Jay started Aptech while a student at Cornell University
studying Industrial Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
He continued to build the business during his spare time while
holding engineering management positions with USX (formerly
U.S. Steel). Jay and his wife Margo are the parents of 7 children
and live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jill E. Wilder, Vice President
Jill is instrumental in creating Aptech’s vision for
the future and focuses her attention on ensuring that the
company’s product direction applies the most advanced
technologies available. She oversees the company’s
product development and design teams, as well as the Customer
Support and Sales and Marketing departments.
Calling on 25+ years’ experience in computerized accounting
and business applications, Jill directs Aptech’s day-to-day
operations including all financial and administrative
activity. As Aptech’s first director of operations,
Jill helped define company training certifications and implementation.
She is a
former president of the Hotel Financial and Technology Professionals
(HFTP) Pittsburgh Chapter, and earned a BS/BA in administrative
management from Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Cam Troutman, Vice President
Cam is responsible for the sales, marketing, and product strategy at Aptech. He and his team partner with clients to develop effective new systems and functionalities that meet the dynamic needs of today’s hospitality business environment. Cam also oversees product positioning and educates the marketplace about Aptech’s solutions.
Cam has over 12 years of sales, marketing, and management experience in the areas of business intelligence, report/dashboard design, and accounting applications. He is a respected professional who has spoken at numerous industry events such as HITEC and HFTP and at many client conferences. He has also authored multiple articles such as dashboard design and hospitality metrics.
Cam received his undergraduate degree in engineering from Pennsylvania State University and resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with his wife and three children.
Kathleen A. Gallagher, CPA, Senior Director of
Operations
With a BS in education from Slippery Rock University, a BS
in accounting from the University of Pittsburgh, Kathleen
also has 19 years of accounting and finance experience in
computerized accounting, business applications, development,
installations, and customer support. Kathleen has been with
Aptech Computer Systems for 12 years and manages product
development and customer satisfaction.
Sam Costa, Director of Customer Service and Support
Educated at Robert Morris College and Pennsylvania State
University, Sam has 14 years experience with Aptech Computer
Systems and is responsible for installations, training,
system upgrades and testing. He also oversees Aptech’s
extensive customer support department and specializes in
the functionality of Aptech's back office and business
intelligence applications.
Keith Bajura, Director of
Technology
Educated at Carnegie Mellon University, Keith has over 15
years experience in networking, technology and computerized
systems. Keith is responsible for the Aptech network
infrastructure and works with the team regarding emergent
technology. Prior to coming to Aptech, Keith held positions as
the Director of Technology at Carnegie Mellon’s School of Music
and the Director of Technology for the West Mifflin Area School
District.
